Canadian ice hockey player weds his Denim Bride

It doesn’t get any more quirky and cool than Alecia and Patricks Wedding, the couple are from Canada and contacted me as they were planning a “family only” Destination Wedding to Ireland as none of the Wedding Party had been before. They eventually decided on Cahernane House Hotel in Killarney.

The bride Alecia’s unique style blended her relaxed and sophisticated look, she even donned a Denim Jacket with her Wedding Dress.

We chose some fab locations as backdrops to help capture the charm of Alecia and Patrick and tell the story of their day plus showcase the beauty of County Kerry giving the couple the Irishy theme they desired.

The couple really mixed it up and did it in style! Congratulations guys!!

Leixlip Manor

Love is sweet for Deirdre + Simon’s Big Day

It’s a pleasant change to shoot a Wedding locally, the couple who are practically neighbours of mine chose to wed in Dalkey Church and then onto Leixlip Manor. We had a fun filled day and the Bridal Party were great craic {as you’ll see from some of the images}. We had some pit stops  in Dalkey on route to the Hotel and captured the essence of this easy going couple.

There was an infectious happy buzz all day and Deirdre and Simon were a pleasure to shoot.

Congrats Guys!

Portmarnock beach

Sun, Sea and Ice Cream Wedding Bliss for Emma + Rowan

Emma and Rowan are both avid sea swimmers so it only seemed fitting that they should celebrate their Big Day in the place they met and where they mutually share a passion for the sea. Blessed with good weather on Portmarnock Beach the day couldn’t have worked out any better with Sun, sea and ice cream, it’s a no brainer!

This colourful, fun filled, casual Wedding was the epitome of romance and how to do it differently.

What a fabulous story they told and a pleasure to shoot.

Congratulations to you both!

Janey Mac Coffee shop {Commercial shoot}

Romantic Vintage Tea rooms and Coffee Shop in the foodie haven that is Kinsale, Co.Cork. I had the great pleasure of capturing some quirky images today of a new business “Janey Mac” in Kinsale. Run by a great couple Cyril and Ruth “Janey Mac” is a well thought out space with interesting and colourful décor, modern and chic there’s no better place to relax and spend a wintry rainy afternoon sipping tea and enjoying their many delights with friends, thanks Cyril and Ruth, best of luck with your new venture.

Sharon + JP {Engagement shoot} Phoenix Park

Check out a selection of images from last week’s Engagement shoot in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, with the easy-going and relaxed Sharon and John-Paul. The couple were casually dressed and well prepped for the changeable Irish weather with shades and wellies, surrounded by the famous Phoenix Park deer they cozied up in the sun with a lavish champagne picnic, a few well-chosen props added those essential details to a fantastic and creative shoot, congratulations guys!
