Cloughjordan House

It was such a pleasure to shoot a wedding at this lovely newish shabby chic venue in County Tipp. Typical Irish weather prevailed at Cloughjordon House, It was one of the sunniest / wettest Days I’ve experienced, four seasons in a day….yet….we made the most of it and grabbed our opportunities to take some shots in between the showers, from the images you can’t tell! oh the magic of photography!

Claudine + James added loads of special details to personalise their day, from table tennis on the lawn, a beer bath plus brollies and balloons, these all added a fab pop of colour, a fantastic time was had by all!

Cheers guys and congrats again! x

The Step House

Feeling the love big time at This kooky celebration

This pair of outdoors enthusiasts exuded effortless style and showed us how it’s done, they kicked off their nuptials at the architecturally stunning chapel in Borris House and then across the road to the Step House for the Hoolie!

Many words sum up this couple and wedding, down to earth, fun, genuine, and a complete pleasure to shoot.

This is why I do what I do, feeling priviIeged, big congrats!

Rachel + Joe

The Millhouse

Relaxed bohemian outdoors celebration

What a day for this cool couple, the Millhouse surprised them with an outdoors ceremony set-up, it had been discussed but as we all know its hard to plan any outdoor events in Ireland with four seasons in a day (sometimes)....But....What a doozy of a day they got! The weather, setting and everything else in between was near on perfect!

Rachel and Joe own a Retro Camper van and are avid festival goers, so it was only natural that they incorporate their relaxed, bohemian, festival going style touches into their Wedding Day, and of course the camper was their wedding car, a fantastic day and a pleasure to shoot such a sunny, fun and relaxed Wedding, cheers guys you were epic!

Ballybeg House

Butterfly Bunting at Ballybeg

Aislinn and James don’t do things by halves and their Winter Wedding at Ballybeg House is a testament to that! The grooms party kicked off the day with a dip in the jacuzzi and the bridal party glammed up in the Lodge, the couples dog was also a special guest and chaperoned the bride to the ceremony, how cute!

Ballybeg House is a feast for the eyes with stunning views of the Wicklow countryside, and inside cozy open fires and lovely interiors, this fun couple added some quirky detailing to their ceremony and reception, all decked out with Butterfly Bunting, Sparklers and even a Kooky Cocktail Bar to name a few, this all made my job a whole lot more interesting,

Everyone partied into the wee hours, congrats on creating such an epic party Aislinn and James! One to remember!

The year that was 2014

“WOW! 2014 you’ve been my busiest and best year to date!”

I’m so lucky in what I do and in getting to spend an awesome day out with all the amazing couples who let me into their lives! Thanks for all the support from everyone and not forgetting all the amazing couples for their positive comments, even a simple “like” on an image is humbling.

I've received a load of inquiries for weddings around the world including Australia, South Africa and even as tropical as Indonesia, hopefully a few more destination weddings will be booked, my passport is raring to go! Exciting times ahead!

The Millhouse

Another fab day at one of my favourite wedding venues The Millhouse in Slane, Leah and Donal were great craic and a pleasure to shoot, the wedding party were a bunch of messers which made for some fun images {as you’ll see in the blog}, it was also brilliant to see three of my previous wedding couples there, i really felt the love. Congrats again Leah + Donal!

Clonwilliam House

“Not just rocking on the outside”

Take one dramatically situated Country House in Wicklow, add a couple of Dublin natives, great family and friends, a retro purple velvet suited groom and stunning bride and you’ve got all the ingredients for something quite special.

The day kicked off with a splash as the Grooms Party indulged in an early swim followed by a jacuzzi and beers, the ladies on the other hand got their glad rags on to a few glasses of bubbly, you can’t go wrong either way!

After their Church Ceremony this super fun and relaxed couple were up for a “bit of craic” with their Wedding Party, we captured some great laughs in the picturesque grounds of Clonwilliam House and even managed a few snaps amongst the field of haybales.

The Grooms men donned purple dickie bows and the Groom totally rocked his purple velvet retro suit, the ladies were soft and glowing in white and blue.

All in all Clonwilliam House is the ideal place to celebrate your marriage with an eclectic mix of old and new, formal and informal, the reception took place in the bohemian barn style building. It was a privilege to have documented such a special day.

All I can say is “Katie + Zac, you rocked it bigtime”! Congrats again!

Village at Lyons

A grand day out on the Grand Canal

Finally, I got to shoot a Wedding at the awesome location that is The Village at Lyons! It’s been on my wish list for a while and when Arran + Frankie contacted me I over the moon as both couple and location don’t get any better than this.

The choice of backdrops at the location is a Wedding Photographers Mecca, being located on the Grand Canal is a win win with flowing waterfalls, lakes, bridges, interesting doorways, stone walls, mature greenery, beautiful gardens and quirky vintage interiors, theres just so many options that I can’t wait to shoot there again!

Arran + Frankie had decided on a “First Look” a great and less traditional option if you wish to spend the optimum amount of time partying with family and friends, I’m shooting more and more “First Looks” which i’m a big fan of. Having gotten most of the couple shots before the ceremony it really took the pressure off and the couple could relax and concentrate more on having fun with their guests, the Ceremony took place in the Conservatory again a stunning backdrop for the relaxed nuptials, Congrats again to this great couple!

Inishbofin House Hotel

Turquoise Paradise Wedding on Inishbofin

The pictures say it all, Ruth + Bryan got an awesome day for their Island Wedding Celebration, with turquoise sea and skies plus fluffy white clouds they could’ve been on a Mediterranean Island paradise , but alas, it was Ireland at it’s bestest and brightest!

This elegant and dashing couple played a blinder, what a way to get hitched, from their intimate ceremony in the island church where their guests adorned them with confetti upon leaving, to their reception at The Inishbofin House Hotel where the couple choreographed and performed one the best first dances I’ve witnessed, Congrats guys, you rocked it!

Clonabreany House

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to this Festival Style Wedding

Colour Colour and more colour!, what can I say, the bride works in Kids TV and you can totally see the influence with all the  fun colourful detailing, this Fairytale, Alice in Wonderland- esque, Candy-striped, Chic, Funky Festival Wedding with ribbons, balloons and it’s very own Fairy-winged Flower Girl plus Trip to the Moon Photobooth perfectly matched with my style of editing and photography, what a visual treat!!

Mary + Gareth got hitched at the magnificent Headfort School, Co. Meath and then on to breath-taking country estate of Clonabreaney House. They detailed their Wedding with so many personal touches that were representative of them, it was a photographers utopia.

Congrats again and thanks for making my job so enjoyable!
