What I love about this venue

Clonabreany House really has it all and the fact it's all 'Exclusively yours' for the day is amazing. The size of the estate is impressive with lots of different options for photo backdrops and indeed ceremony locations.

When the sun is out , the rolling hills and greenery really has a magical quality. The Grand Marquee is bright and airy and has plenty of space complimented by some beautiful reception rooms and of course The cosy sibín bar is also worth having a sneaky pint.

The food is always great too with the staff being very friendly and efficient. All in all Clonabreany House has everything you could want in a Wedding venue and somewhere I always enjoy working at.

Kilshane House

Kilshane, Tipperary, Ireland

Type of venue

Text from their website:

Kilshane House is an exclusive event venue with a dedicated team of wedding and event co-ordinators, in house chefs and operational staff. Built in 1822, is the centrepiece of 320 acres in the heart of County Tipperary, Ireland.

Each wedding is designed to be as unique and special as the bride and groom. An elegant dinner for the bridal party in the formal dining room the night before the wedding or an informal party in the Billiard Room with bar food and drinks as family and friends arrive can set the pace for the entire weekend.

What I love about this venue

Kilshane House has 320 Acres of landscape eye candy with so many options for photographs. For the prep the bride usually gets ready in the main bedroom, which is spacious and blessed with lovely natural light from beautiful big windows. They also have several options for the partners to get ready too.

My 3 favourite locations are the Conservatory which makes for a great ceremony location and also drinks reception, it is also great for photographs on a rainy day. Down by the lake is a must for some couple portraits and a great little time out place for the couple to take it all in with amazing views of the venue.

And last but not least I LOVE the staircase, I have joked that I could shoot a whole wedding on the stairs, The rich green walls with big windows make for beautiful portraits and also my favourite dark moody shots.

All in all Kilshane House is a one stop venue that has it all and it's a joy to work at.

What I love about this venue

I was lucky enough to have shot one of the early weddings at Cloughjordan House and have been so impressed with how the venue has grown and become one of the best in the business.

The Exterior of the House itself is a perfect backdrop with the colours changing dramatically due to the different seasons and also offers lots of accommodation options on site which is great for guests and family.

Also Games on the lawn are a winner in my bookCloughjordan House has several options for ceremonies and amazing grounds to go for a short walk with the couple.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating and this comes from the top down with the owners Peter + Sarah and the wedding coordinator Jessica being a joy to be around and are fully committed and involved in making sure the day goes smoothly and I also look forward to seeing Peter's Landrover Defender, she's a wee beauty :-)
